ACACIA RIDGE SUBURB

Acacia Ridge is a southern suburb of Brisbane, located approximately 13–16 kilometres from the central business district The suburb features a mix of residential, industrial, and commercial land uses, with significant industrial activity concentrated particularly in the eastern areas Acacia Ridge was developed after World War II to accommodate returning servicemen and their families, and many post-war homes remain part of the suburb’s character today 

The area is well connected by major transport routes, including Beaudesert Road, and is located near railway stations such as Coopers Plains, supporting access to Brisbane’s CBD . With a population of 7,486 recorded in the 2021 Census, Acacia Ridge is recognised as a diverse and multicultural community. Residents benefit from local amenities including parks, schools, shopping centres, and recreational facilities such as the Iceworld skating rink, contributing to the suburb’s community lifestyle
